Summary
This article explains how to alter the registration number on a vehicle record e.g. when a private plate is removed or added.
More Information
Go to " Unit Sales Add or Edit Vehicle"
- Find the vehicle by entering the old registration number.
- Click [Search] and [Edit].
- Press <Ctrl+F8> and note the previous registration number in the [General Notes].
- Click [Done] then enter the new registration number.
- Click [Done] and [Accept].
Alternatively, to amend the vehicle whilst creating a jobcard simply press <Shift+F10> whilst on the "Vehicle" field.
- Repeat the steps described above to amend the registration number.
Service History
You will be able to view a full service history for a vehicle as long as the correct VIN/Chassis number is entered on a vehicle record even though the registration number may have been altered.
- Edit the vehicle record either via " Unit Sales Add or Edit Vehicle" or via a Workshop Jobcard by pressing <Shift+F10> whilst on the "Vehicle" field.
- Press <Alt+F5>.
- Select [Deep] to ensure the search uses the current vehicle's VIN, Chassis and/or Registration.
