Searching for vehicles in general

You can search for a vehicle by going to: " Vehicle Sales Add or Edit Vehicles". In the "Search on:" you can search for a vehicle model, reg. reg number or any other criteria you may have of the vehicle, here and click on the [Search] button to list vehicles with that criteria.

You can get to the "Add or Edit Vehicles" screen from any where in platinum where there is a "Stock Code" Field, simply by pressing <Ctrl-F1>.

Search for vehicles that are in stock

In order to search for vehicles that are In Stockonly, you will need to click on the [Advance] button or press <F9>, whilst in the "Add or Edit Vehicles" screen.

• On the "Status:" you will need to enter in the 'Status' for vehicles in stock.
  • If unsure of the status you can search for it by pressing <Ctrl-F1> and on the "Filter On:" type 'Stock'.
  • Click on the 'Status' you wish to use and click the [Choose] to select the status. This will take you back to the "Advance Search Range" screen and fill in the status code.
• Now click on the [Search] button to list vehicles that are in stock.

This method can be used to quickly establish what vehicles you have in stock for a particular manufacture. Simply going into the Advance Search Range" selecting the 'In Stock' "Status" and entering the 'Manufacturer' in the "Filter On:" and clicking the [Search] button.
