How do I set or change my Platinum Online Password?

Summary

This article explains how to set the Platinum Online password for your Platinum user.

Important

It is your responsibility to make sure your password is secure (combination of Upper case, lower case, digits and symbols). Please remember this is internet facing access to your data - If some intruder knows your 'Online ID' and 'Password' then Platinum Online will think it's you!

Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Add or Edit Users".

• Press <Enter> to move down to the "User Code" field.
• Click [Online Password] or press <Shift+F2>.
• Type in your new Platinum Online password.

You must enter a password which Platinum considers secure, the password must contain at least 1 character, 1 number and 1 symbol.

• Re-type your password in the "Confirm Password" field.
• The "Password Score" box will fill to show how secure your password is.
  • When your password is secure enough the system will say 'High Password Score'.
• Click [Set] to save your Platinum Online password.
• Click [Exit] and [Accept] to save the changes.
