Summary
This article explains how you can take images of your vehicles for sale on your preferred smartphone and upload them direct to your Platinum system.
More Information
 | By "Smartphone" we mean Phones like the Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy, i.e. anything with a mobile data connection and a web browser. This also means tablets like the Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Note\Tab and Google Nexus will work too. |
Using your Platinum Online Account to Select an Item
First Log into your Platinum Online account as explained HERE.
- Then from the "Sidebar" options select "Stock" and then "Image Manager".
- Find the part you require by entering the "Stock Number", "Barcode" or Part of the stock description

- Select the part from the results list
- Click the [Add Photo] Button
Taking the Photo
- This will take you to your smartphones\tablets built in camera app. This is where the instructions differ for the different types of smartphone\tablet.

Adding More Images
- Adding the first image allows you to add further images, compile a list and then upload all in one go.
 | Depending on the spec of the camera on your smartphone\tablet these images can be quite large. It is therefore important that you either have enough data on your plan to accommodate this or make sure you are connected to WIFI. It would also be beneficial to change your camera's resolution to a lower setting, around 2MP. |
