Summary
This article explains how you can take images of your vehicles for sale on your prefered smartphone and upload them direct to your Platinum system.

 | By "Smartphone" we mean Phones like the Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy, i.e. anything with a mobile data connection and a web browser. |
Using your Platinum Online Account to Select a Vehicle
First Log into your Platinum Online account as explained HERE.
- Then from the "Sidebar" options select "Vehicles" and then "Image Manager".
- Find the vehicle you require by entering the "Vehicle Stock Number", "Reg Number" or Part of the vehicle make\model

- Select the vehicle from the results list
- Click the [Add Photo] Button
Taking the photo
- This will take you to your smartphones built in camera app. This is where the instuctions differ for the different types of smart phone.

Apple iOS 6 and Above
- Choose 'Take Photo' or 'Choose Existing'
- Take a new image or choose and existing one from your gallery.
- when taking a new image once taken you will get the option to 'Retake' or 'Use Photo'. Once you have a photo you are happy with select 'Use Photo'
Google Android 4.1 (Jellybean and Above)
- Choose 'Camera' or 'Gallery'
- Take a new image or choose and existing one from your gallery.
- when taking a new image once taken you will get the option to 'Retake' or 'Done'. Once you have a photo you are happy with select 'Done'
Microsoft Windows Phone 8
| At the time of writing Microsoft Windows Phone 8 (8.0.10512.142) does not allow web apps to have access the the phones camera |
Blackberry OS 7.1
| At the time of writing the Blackberry internet browser does not allow Platinum online to run correctly |
Adding More Images
- Adding the first image allows you to add further images, compile a list and then upload all in one go.
| Depending on the spec of the camera on your smart phone these images can be quite large. It is therefore important that you either have enough data on your plan to accommodate this or your are connect to WIFI. |
