Summary

This article explains how to take images of your vehicles for sale on your preferred mobile device and upload them directly to your Platinum system.

More Information

You should be able to use most mobile devices that have a data connection and a web browser. This includes most of the common smartphones and tablets.

Selecting a Vehicle to Add

Log into your Platinum Online account as explained here.

  • From the "Sidebar" options, select " Vehicles Image Manager".
  • Find the vehicle you require by entering the "Vehicle Stock Number", "Reg Number" or part of the vehicle make\model.
  • Select the correct vehicle from the results list.
  • Click the [Add Photo] Button.
If the vehicle you want is not found, make sure you have the right vehicle location selected. To check this, go back to the "Sidebar" options and below " Vehicles", tap the location and then select the correct one or choose 'All Locations'.

Take the Photo

  • This will take you to the camera on your device. This is where the instructions differ for the different types of device.

Choose Existing

  • This will allow you to use the stored images on your device. This is where the instructions differ for the different types of device.
    • Refer to the manual for your device for further details on the operations of this.

Adding More Images

  • Adding the first image allows you to add further images, compile a list and then upload all in one go.
Depending on the camera on your device, these images can be quite large. It is therefore important that you either have enough data on your plan to accommodate this or you are connected to WIFI. It would also be beneficial to change your camera's resolution to a lower setting, for example around 2MP.
