How to get your SXID information

Summary

The ability to obtain the Platinum License (SXID) information for a computer that has or is currently accessing Platinum.

Additional Information

Each time a computer accesses the Platinum Software, it creates an entry log within the SX company folder. This entry log is called SX-LOGIN.LOG and will be a notepad file. An Example of the file is shown below...

Explaining the SX-Login.Log File

  • The left hand field the Notepad file is the Computers name in the example above LIAISON2 is shown.
  • Next is the Users log-on code, this changes every time the user logs onto platinum and increase numerically. In the Example starting 1785, 1786 and 1787.
  • The next field is the Users ID code. This is a unique code within the system maintenance for creating user codes. For Example 01.
  • The next two fields are the login date and time when the user logged on. For Example 19/06/2008 16:04:48, 19/06/2008 16:04:48, and 19/06/2008 16:22:13.
  • The next 3 fields are not needed at all. These in the example are SX 00 00.
  • Finally the all important field the Machines Platinum License (SXID) This ID is unique to each machine and is what is needed by the CATALYST SUPPORT TEAM.
