Syntax

S08{C/H, 1-8, A-Z, E/R, A/B/R}

Description

There are a possible 8 NI bands (these may not all be in use).

Parameters

C/H
A text parameter that can be omitted (it defaults to "C").
C
Current (the value currently in effect).
H
Historic (the value as at the time of the historic transaction). This will only be applicable if you have based a report on the 'H' variables.
1-8
A text parameter that can be omitted (it defaults to "1").
The NI band.
A-Z
A text parameter that can be omitted.
blank
Use the band set for the employee.
A-Z
Use this band.
E/R
A text parameter that can be omitted (it defaults to "E").
E
Employee NI.
R
Employer NI.
A/B/R
A text parameter that can be omitted (it defaults to "A").
A
Above Lower earning.
B
Below Lower earning (No-longer Used).
R
Rebate rate.

Returns

A numeric value whose typical size is 2 digits plus 2 decimal places.
