Syntax

S09{C/H, U/S/C}

Description

The basic rate of tax. For employees with a 'BR' tax code.

Parameters

C/H
A text parameter that can be omitted (it defaults to "C").
C
Current (the value currently in effect).
H
Historic (the value as at the time of the historic transaction). This will only be applicable if you have based a report on the 'H' variables.
U/S/C
A text parameter that can be omitted (it defaults to "U").
U
Uses values applicable to the UK except Scotland and Wales.
S
Uses values applicable to Scottish tax codes.
C
Uses values applicable to Welsh tax codes.

Returns

A numeric value whose typical size is 2 digits plus 2 decimal places.
