Summary

This article explains how to produce a file containing Suzuki service information to enter into the Suzuki Service Data Uploader.

More Information

Customer and vehicle details for Suzuki vehicles, serviced between specified dates, are extracted from the Workshop system by running a report. If you do not have this report you can download it here. Click here for instructions on importing the report into your Workshop Report Generator.

The PDF Suzuki Data Uploader User Guide explains how to upload the data to the Suzuki system. To download a copy of this User Guide click here.


How to Run the Report

Go into " Workshop Workshop Reports Workshop Report Generator".

  • Type Suzuki and press <<F2>>.
  • Select the report called Suzuki CSI Data Extract and press <F4>.
  • Enter your Dealer Code. This will be saved the first time you run the report.
  • Enter the Date Range to find vehicles serviced between the dates you specify.
  • Press <<F2>> to produce the report.
  • A .csv file called SUZCSIE.csv will be created. You can find it in your Platinum folder within sx\sxicons\output.
Please note this file is set to overwrite itself each time it is run.

If you have more than one site using Platinum you will need to have a copy of this report for each site. Click here for instructions on how to create copies of the report.
