Summary

The following article explains how you can use Stock Applications in Platinum.

More Information

Where ever you can search for a stock code, you can also, using the advanced option, search for Stock Applications. Stock Applications shows you all stock items that "fit" the product or model you're searching on.

Configuration

Go to " Stock Control Maintenance Options Stock Applications" Here you will see a list of current applications. To create a new application press <Add>.

  • In the "Application" field, type a code for the application. This could be a vehicle model, or any other appropriate code.
  • In the "Description" field, give your application a suitable name.
  • Now select the "Stock" tab.
  • You now list all stock items that you want to associate with this application.
  • When you've finished adding stock items, click <Done> and <Accept> to save changes.

In Use

Anywhere where you can search for a stock code in Platinum, pressing <F9> or clicking <Advanced> brings up an advanced search range.

  • From here, entering in you application code in the "Application" field and then clicking "Search" will bring up a list of all stock items relating to that code.
