Summary

Platinum Online is a suite of secure Internet browser applications which compliment mainstream Platinum Software. It is designed as a browser application - this software runs anywhere that internet access is wirelessly available.

The recommended browsers for different devices are listed below with their current minimum supported versions. We have tested and confirmed working on the versions listed. Earlier versions may also work but have not been tested and are not supported.

Windows PC

  • Internet Explorer (v10 or newer)
  • Chrome (v30 or newer)

Apple iMac

  • Safari (OS X)

Apple Mobile Device (iOS)

  • Safari (iOS 6 or newer)

Android Device

  • Browser (Android 4.1 "Jelly Bean" or newer)
  • Chrome (Android 4.3 "Jelly Bean" or newer)

Windows Phone

  • Internet Explorer (Windows Phone 8 or newer)
Image uploading is not currently available due to restrictions in the Windows Phone OS. See Why is Add Images not Available on Platinum Online?

Blackberry OS

At the time of writing the Blackberry internet browser does not allow Platinum online to run correctly

Windows Tablet

  • Internet Explorer (Windows 8 or newer)
