Summary
The following explains what each of these icons mean, and their use.
More Information
Within the " Workshop Diary", there are many different icons that can be displayed, all depending on Workshop Loading or Job Status etc.
The Icons
- To display workshop loading on a particular day, there are a range of smileys that go from sad to happy: sad for little or no work; happy for a full workshop (obviously from the workshop manager's perspective!). If there is slightly more loading in the workshop than available hours, then the smiley goes a shade of green! If however you overload heavily, the smiley changes to a yellow warning triangle, indicating a loading issue. This is not however treated by the system as a problem as you may have over-booked on purpose.
- If the workshop is closed on a particular day, then you will see a red 'No Entry' sign.
- If at any time you see a blue question mark in a speech bubble, this indicates that there is a problem that needs resolving on that particular day. If you <click> into the day with the question mark on it, Platinum will highlight the job it thinks has a problem. There can be a number of reasons for this, a couple of which are shown below:
- If you schedule a job to a particular technician who is booked out on that day.
- If you schedule a job to a Skill (if using) that is not assigned to a Technician in the " Labour Code Properties".
