More Information
If you find that you are in the situation where you have entered a new starters P45 Details to Platinum and have then filed these online and notice that there is a mistake you will need to;
Contact the HMRC immediately explaining what has happened and the mistake that was made. |
- Fill out a manual P45 for the New starter.
- Write a covering letter which explains;
- The mistake that was made on the original P45 which was filed online.
- The Employee details and Payroll reference number.
Send both the new P45 and Covering letter to:
HM Revenue & Customs

All that is left is to reverse the online filing. The easiest way to do this is simply revert your payroll back to before entering the P45 Details. To do this simply delete the payroll period. |
