This article will explain the reasons why you may not be able to edit the [Purchase] tab of a sold vehicle.

There are a few reasons why the [Purchase] tab of a vehicle may not be editable.
- Your user security settings do not allow you to edit Purchase information on sold vehicles.
This can be checked on your user parameters in the "Vehicle Sales Security" section.
- Your user parameters do not allow you to edit the [Purchase] tab of a vehicle.
This can be checked on your user parameters in the "Vehicle Sales User Screens" section.
You may not have access to " User Maintenance" if this is the case then you will need to get your on site system administrator to check for you. |
- The Vehicle was created as a Part Exchange vehicle, Platinum locks the [Purchase] tab of all Part Exchange vehicles so that these cannot be edited from outside the vehicle sales order, this is to prevent changes being made that would then not show correctly on the sale order.
