Details

Custom menus have to be allocated to users before those users can see the them.

When you create a new employee Platinum doesn't automatically allocate menus.

  • You may have management menus that you don't want these new employee's to see.
  • You may have menus that are specific to a department.

Method

To allocate a new employee to an existing custom menu you will need to go to "Reports and Parameters" -> "Maintenance Options" -> "Custom File Maintenance".

  • Choose the custom menu you want this employee to see and allocate the the user to the menu by using the <F2> (Allocate Users ) option.
  • Add the employee to this list. (Use <Ctrl+F1> to search for the employee code if not known).
