Summary
This article explains why you might see customers appearing on your debt list with a zero balance and how to deal with these.
Printing an Aged Debtors List
Follow the article here for details on how to print your Aged Debtor List off.
Resolving the Issue
- Go to " Sales Ledger Receipts"
- Press F2 to change the "Mode" to 'All Documents'.
- Enter the account code of the customer showing a zero balance.
- Check down the list of documents for any with an * next to the "Balance Held" value. Use the <Page-Down> button to move through the pages quickly.
- If there are any documents with an * next to them press <Shift+F2> to see the list of Document Holds.
- Press <F5> to amend the Hold Record.
- Enter a date in the past in the "Expiry" field.
- Press <Esc> and [Accept] to save the Document Hold.
- Press <Esc> to exit out of the receipts program.
- Print off your Aged Debt List again to check that the account has now been removed from the list.
