Where can I find my Catalyst FindIt username and password?

This article will talk you through where in the platinum system you can find your username and password for the daily vehicle upload to the FindIt website and also the additional Password if you use Platinum 0 to update your website.

Additional Information

The details of your username and password for FindIt is all stored in your Platinum Software. To find out what these are you will need to go to: "Reports & Parameters" -> "Maintenance Options" -> "System Administrator"

• A screen prompt will appear asking : "Other users are in this copy of the software. Do you still want to enter this option?"

• Click on the [Yes] Button.

• Go into "System Parameters" This will display a screen called General Company Details, press <Page-Down>.

• This will take you to the page labelled General Security Parameters.

• On this screen you will see a selection of settings. The ones we are interested in are:
  • "Platinum O Account :" - Is your FindIt Username.
  • "Platinum O Upload Password :" - Your FindIt Password.
  • "Platinum O Admin Password :" - Your Password to Platinum O if you are a Platinum O Customer.

Do Not alter these as they will stop any future uploads to FindIt. If you wish to have these changed contact our support team on 0116 2301500.
