Summary
This article will guide you through replacing the Platinum icons if they go missing.
More Information
If the Platinum icons are missing from your Desktop or the "Start" menu, you will need to either; click here to download the Platinum update file (Platwin.exe);or go to " My Computer Platinum drive (typically P:) SX SXUtils".
- Double click on either "Platwin.exe" that has been downloaded, or "SXSetup.exe" located in the " My Computer Platinum drive (typically P:) SX SXUtils" folder.
- If a message appears asking if you want to run the software, click [Run].
- A screen should appear saying "Welcome to the Platinum Setup Wizard". Click the [No] button as you do not want to update Platinum.
- The next screen will present you with a number of options.
- Click to Tick the □ next to "Install Platinum shortcuts" and click [Next>].
- A Green status bar will start and when complete you will get the message "Installation completed successfully at
- Click [Close] to close the installation program.
