More Information

After printing a jobcard you may be asked if you wish to "Print Advisory Check Sheet?". This produces the Vehicle Health Check sheet for the specific vehicle type, e.g. 'Car', 'Motorcycle' or 'Caravan' etc. The report is built in to Platinum Software and is not a straight forward document to amend.

Experienced Report Generator users may feel confident to make changes following the guidance below.

Editing a Vehicle Health Check Report

You cannot edit a "System" report as any changes that you make will be overwritten when you next run a Platinum Program update. You can copy a "System" report which will then be saved as a "User" report which may then be edited.
  • "User" reports are never overwritten by a Program Update.
  • Go to " Workshop Job Reports Workshop Report Generator".
  • Type 'RETENTION SURVEY' and click [Search].
  • Highlight the report you want to copy and press <Alt+F8>.
  • Enter the same code as the "System" report, e.g. '~V3' if you are copying the Car report.
  • Click [OK].
  • Highlight the newly created "User" report and press <F5> to edit the report.
  • Click [Column Details] to take you in to the body of the report.
The reports contain various commands to create the boxes and text you see printed on the Vehicle Health Check sheet. Please be careful when amending any of these commands.
  • Click [Finish Editing] to exit the report.
