Summary

The ability to get a current value of the vehicles that you have In Stock on the System. To get a value at a specific date, you will need to run the "Vehicle Valuation at a Date" report.

More Information

Go to " Unit Sales Vehicle Reports Reports Alter Report Range".

This will display a screen that allows you to set the range of vehicles that will appear on your report.

Report Range

"New Vehicles"
Entering 'Y' will result in only new vehicles appearing. Entering 'N' will result in only used vehicles being displayed. Leaving this record blank will result in both New and Used vehicles being displayed.
"Location"
Enter a specific vehicle location for the report to look at. Leaving this blank will include all set vehicle locations.
"Stock No. From","To."
Enter the first vehicle stock number to include to the last vehicle stock number to include.
"Statuses Included"
You can enter up to three vehicle status codes to be included in the report.
  • If all of the status included fields are left blank all statuses will be included (Unless they are specifically excluded by use of the exclusion fields).
"Statuses Excluded"
Enter up to three vehicle status codes to be excluded from the report.
"Categories Included"
You can enter up to three vehicle Category codes to be included in the report.
  • If all of the categories included fields are left blank all categories will be included (Unless they are specifically excluded by use of the exclusion fields).
"Categories Excluded"
Enter up to three vehicle category codes to be excluded from the report.
"Manufacturer"
Enter the vehicle manufacturer code to be included in the report.
  • If the manufacturer field is left blank all manufacturers will be included.
"Models"
Enter up to three vehicle model codes to be included in the report.
  • If all of the model fields are left as blank all models will be included.
  • You should never leave all fields blank on this screen. The reports will not provide meaningful information.

  • "New Vehicles:"''.
  • "Location:"'SHO (Showroom)'.
  • "Stock No. From:"''.
  • "To:"''.
  • "Statuses Included:"'STO (In Stock)'
  • "Statuses Excluded:"'DEM (Demonstration)'
  • "Categories Included:"''.
  • "Categories Excluded:"''.
  • "Manufacturer:"'KAW (Kawasaki)'
  • "Model Included:"''
Will Display Only "Kawasaki" vehicles that are "In Stock" and located in the "Showroom" and excludes "Demonstration" Vehicles.

Once you have set the range that you require, press <Esc> to return to the Reports menu in order to run the Vehicle Valuation Report.

Report Running

Now that the search criteria has been entered on the Alter Report range screen, click on [Valuation Report] to run the report.

Printing: To print out the "Valuation Report" click [Toggle Output] so that the output shown is "Printer". Or to display the "Valuation Report" click [Toggle Output] so that output shown is "Display".

Valuation at a Date

Go to " Unit Sales Vehicle Reports Vehicle Sales Report Generator".

  • Type 'valuation' and click <Search>.
  • Select report 'VAL - Valuation at a Date'.
  • Click [Start].
  • Enter the ranges for your report and click <Start>.
  • Click [Print] if you wish to print the report.
