Summary

This article explains how you can check and prevent too many messages being sent from the retention centre

More Information

For example go to the Customer Retention Centre by going to " Systems Reports & Settings Customer Retention Centre"

  • Click " Regular Processes" and let the list collate.
  • Once the list has finished you can sort the list by Customer by clicking the "Code" field.
  • Now scan through the list to see if there are two lines there for the same customer and if there is highlight the one you don't wish to send and click the [Hold] button at the top of the screen to put them off til the next time.

Example Situation

Mr John Smith brought a car this time two years ago but is also due a service at this point. The system would show a service reminder in the retention centre and also a after sales thank you letter from the vehicle sales side. In this case the after sales thank you could be put on hold for a week or so and then sent later to avoid sending both at the same time.
