Using Stock Associations in Platinum

Using this will prompt the user as to whether they want to include associated items with the sale.

Creating Stock Associations

Go to " Counter Operations Add or Edit Stock Items"

• Search for or create a stock code
• Press <F5> to get to the Stock Properties screen.
• Press <Shift+F7> to get the Stock Associations screen up.
• Type in or Search for the associated stock items.
• Enter the quantity of this associated item to be included with each base stock item.
• Once you have added all the associated items press <Esc> to save the associations. Press <Esc> again to save the stock item properties.

Selling Stock Associations

Go to " Counter Operations Point of Sale"

• Enter the original base stock item.
• Enter the quantity you wish to sell.
• Once you press <Enter> it will bring up the Stock Associations window.
• By default all of the associated items will be tagged for addition to the sale, press <F5> to untag an individual item or <Ctrl+F5> to untag all items.
• Once you have tagged the required items press <Enter> to add the associated items to the sale.
• Complete the rest of the sale as you would normally.
