Summary

Platinum has a Data Feed available for units to be listed through eBay Motors Pro, this article will explain why the unit colour may be missing from the unit description section of the advert.

More Information

Units: Unit is a general term used to cover all types of vehicle and machinery, including items such as motorcycles, scooters, cars, trucks, vans, caravans, motorhomes, boats, tractors, ATVs, agricultural equipment, wholegoods and construction equipment.

The unit colour is picked up from your unit in platinum and sent to eBay in the feed. eBay however only recognises certain colours and if the colour you have used does not match their list it will be ignored and no colour will be displayed.

Here is the list of eBay approved colours:

  • Beige
  • Black
  • Blue
  • Brown
  • Maroon
  • Cream
  • Gold
  • Grey/Gray
  • Green
  • Orange
  • Purple
  • Red
  • Silver
  • Turquoise
  • White
  • Yellow

If the colour on your unit does not match this list it will be ignored by eBay.
