Summary
The following article outlines how to search for a stock item when you don't know it's stock code.
More Information
From any stock code field in Platinum you can press <Ctrl+F1> to launch a search window. All you then need to do is type in part of the description you wish to search on for (e.g. 'Gasket' for Head Gasket) in the "Search On" box.
You will then be shown a list of stock with Gasket in the description.
See Finding stock.
