Summary
This article explains how to add notes to a Workshop Job using Platinum Online.
More Information
- Select the Platinum Online Icon from your Home screen.
- Enter your 'Online ID' and 'Password' log in details.
To check/set up your Platinum Online log in details, click here |
- Go to " Workshop Technician Activity".
- All Jobs your system is configured to display will be listed on screen.
- Select the Job you wish to add a note to.
- Find the " Job Status" section.
- Type your text and select [Submit].
Periodically your device will synchronise with your live Platinum system. At this point the notes will be added to the Job into the [Description] tab. |
Existing notes are displayed above the "Change status" section. Any amendments to these notes must be made within your desktop version of Platinum. |
You may also set the Job Status at this point. See this article for more information and to configure the available status codes. |

- Go to the [Technician Activity] screen.
- Select [Refresh].
Log Out
At the end of each day you should log out of Platinum Online.
- Select the 3 bars () to the left of [Technician Activity].
- Select [Logout].
