Summary

This article explains some ways to get the most out of the unit pictures you've added to your Platinum system.

More Information

Units: Unit is a general term used to cover all types of vehicle and machinery, including items such as motorcycles, scooters, cars, trucks, vans, caravans, motorhomes, boats, tractors, ATVs, agricultural equipment, wholegoods and construction equipment.

FindIt is a valuable and easy to use tool for getting your units advertised on the internet. However as with any method of advertising no pictures or bad pictures can limit, even harm your chances of a sale from it (it is 36 times more likely that your unit will have it's details viewed when it has a picture).

There are a couple of handy hints you can bear in mind when taking your photos that will help make them as effective as possible.

Enhance your Photos

  • Try to take your photos in a specific area at your site away from the rest of the units to avoid clutter in the background.
  • If possible have some kind of banner or poster showing your company name in the background to act as an advert for you company and make them stand out.
  • Take more than one picture per unit to highlight special features of your units.
e.g. For bikes - Race exhausts, Special Trim, Alloy wheels.
e.g. For cars - Special Trim, Alloy wheels, Interior Trim.
e.g. For caravans and motor homes - Layout, features, fitted features.
