Summary
The following article explains how to assign a Hire Price Plan to a Hire Item or to a Hire Item Type.
More Information
Price plans can be assigned to hire items or hire item types.
Hire items without a price plan set will use the price plan of its item type. |
It is considered best practice to assign a price plan to a hire item type and only override the price plan for individual hire items when necessary. |
Assigning to a Hire Item
- Go to " Booking and Hire Maintenance Options Add or Edit Hire Items".
- Press [Search] to list the hire items.
If there are many hire items, you can narrow the search by entering suitable filters into "Item type:" and "Search on:". |
- Select the hire item you want on the list and press [Edit].
- At "Price plan:", enter the name of the price plan you want to assign to the hire item.
You can search for the price plan you want by pressing <Ctrl+F1> here. |
- Press [Done] and [Accept] the changes.
Assigning to a Hire Item Type
- Go to " Booking and Hire Maintenance Options Add or Edit Hire Item Types".
- Press [Search] to list the hire items.
You can narrow the search by entering a suitable filter into "Filter on:". |
- Select the hire item type you want on the list and press [Edit].
- Go to the "Settings tab:".
- At "Price Plan:", enter the name of the price plan you want to assign to the hire item.
You can search for the price plan you want by pressing <Ctrl+F1> here. |
- Press [Done] and [Accept] the changes.
