This article explains how to create a new stock attribute,
More Information
Stock Attributes can be any three character code with a thirty character description. Each attribute can be given an attribute category. Because both attribute and category are user definable the possibilities and uses for these are endless.
Go to " Stock Control Maintenance Options Add or Edit Stock Attributes".
Adding
- Press the [Add] button.
- Enter the attribute "Code:" and "Description:".
- The "Settings" tab will allow you to change the category of the attribute.
- Press the [Save] button and confirm the changes.
Editing
- To edit an existing attribute, enter part of the description (or code if known) in to the "Filter On:" and press [Search].
- Choose the one to edit from the list with the [Edit] button.
- Make your changes.
- The "Settings" tab will allow you to change the category of the attribute.
- Press the [Save] button and confirm the changes.
These attributes will now appear in the "Attributes" tab of your "Add or Edit Stock" option.
