Summary

If you sell on eBay and have your eBay sales automatically created in Platinum Sales Order Processing Processing, shipping costs of the sale are imported as a separate line in your order.

Tip:  Contact your Platinum dealer or our sales team on 0116 230 1500 or by using our website sales contact page to set up the eBay link into your system.

More Information

When an eBay sale is imported into your system, Platinum adds an order item line containing the order shipping costs. The stock code of the line identifies which shipping option the buyer chose, and can be one of the following:

What if I want to use my own stock codes?

You can use your own stock codes instead of the above if you prefer. For example, if you would like all sales with shipping option 'Royal Mail 1st Class Standard' to come in to an order with stock code 'ZPOST001':

Go to " Stock Control Add or Edit Stock Codes".

  1. Find your stock code 'ZPOST001'.
  2. Go to the [Aliases] tab.
  3. In the "Alias" field enter '~EBCAR000000301'.
  4. Click [Add].
  5. Click [Done].

Future orders with that shipping option will now use your stock code.

WARNING:  This is only intended for the codes stated above for carriage. It will not work for any other items listed on your eBay account, to assign stock codes to your eBay Listings please click HERE and follow the instructions.
